Hi! My name is Sabrina. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker experienced working with children, teens, adults, and families. I have extensive exposure working with clients in crisis, and lean towards a strengths-based, trauma-informed model of care. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I uses a varied, eclectic, and integrative approach to help each client find their own kind of success in achieving their goals.
Therapy can be daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Sabrina: The Person
A big part of finding a therapist that is the right match, is simply by getting to know them. When starting therapy, you aren’t just looking for help with your mental wellness, you are building a relationship with someone that you will see regularly and share all your stuff with. So here is a little about me that can give you insight into who I am - see if it jives with you.
I’ve lived in Illinois my whole life and am currently enjoying that life in the western suburbs of Chicago. I am married, have two daughters, and no pets… yet. I am a glass-half-full kinda lady that gets easily excited about the little things. I love cracking jokes and love being silly, but also have a serious, let’s-get-down-to-work side to me as well. I love jigsaw puzzles, karaoke, and reality TV (don’t judge). I am friendly, casual, confident, and my biggest strength is my authenticity. I like people and getting to know them. In my spare time, you can find me volunteering with youth, cooking or reading.
How I Operate
Throughout my life, I’ve been able to witness the transformation that can happen when someone recognizes their true value, not tied to external achievements. With support and guidance, my clientele gain a deeper understanding behind their behaviors, ultimately allowing them to make change for the future. From this place of self-awareness and self-compassion, I offer tools that allow others the ability to recognize their inherent abilities, harness already existing strengths, and identify and reach meaningful goals.
To move forward, one must identify and work with their pain in order to move through it and past it. It is in this understanding and integration where healing is found.
It’s important you know just how much you matter.
My approach to therapy is rooted in learning where you’ve been, building an understanding of where you are now, and helping you take the necessary steps to get you where you want to go. I believe that my own genuine empathy and sincere curiosity about your lived experiences will help me help you. In our sessions, it is my goal that you feel truly heard, seen, and understood. I've worked with many clients who have come from backgrounds where love often felt conditional, leaving a deep-rooted belief that they must constantly prove their worth. Together, we can embark on a journey towards establishing healthier boundaries, starting with the essential step of nurturing your own self-worth.
